In the world of science, there is no definite measurement.  In any quantity, there is what we call an uncertainty.  In a simple example, let’s say you were using a ruler to measure the length of a rope.  You line up the rope along the ruler, and take a reading.  But how sure are you that the rope was perfectly lined up with the end of the ruler? The world is a hard place.  We all fall and crash into it from time to time.  Failure hurts, whether it’s your first time or your 500th. And we all feel it.  Everyone fails, no one is exempt. Motivation Monday: The Make or Break Cliff

There is a pattern I’ve noticed in the last few years.  As much as I have gotten better at setting goals and carrying them out, there are times when those goals come to a head, and then slowly fade away, whether I achieve them or not.  A good example of this is running.  After running a big race, which for me is a 5 Km or 10 Km run in a goal time, I find that the next few days are sluggish and slow and I have little focus and energy.  In the past this would sometimes derail my progress...
